If you have lost your BBC and ITV Channels on your Big Dish, some Information for you:
The Big Change to Astra 2E Satellite causes some loss of Channels, many of the existing Big Dishes on Tenerife work still quite well for the BBC and ITV Channels. It needs a retune as the new
Satellite is on slightly different position. Specially at night the signal goes down a lot and on some Dishes the program breakes up. The 2,4 (1,8m Receiving Size) Channelmaster Dish seems to be only
good for BBC in the Daytime while the ITV on the ones i tuned works 24/7.
The 3,1m Panel Dish and Polish 2,7 Offset seem to be performing well also on the BBC Channels. Some dishes (20%) are not picking up a stable signal due to variation in fabrication or for damage on
- If you want to squeeze out maximum of you dish feel free to contact. All Pieces in stock.

- Having Sky HD you will be able to get Channel4, ITV2,3,4 and Ch5 without any breakups.
SES Astra and BBC Statement
As part of the ongoing fleet renewal programme, we will be transferring all the UK-only channels currently operating on ASTRA 1N across to ASTRA 2E.uk spot beam.
This move at the 28ºEast orbital location will take place over several weeks
beginning early February 2014.TV viewers outside the UK may see an
impact and may not be able to receive channels from ASTRA 2E , which has a smaller coverage. The replacement fleet has been designed to meet the requirements of UK broadcasters who target their
channels for distribution and hold broadcasting rights only for the UK but not for other countries.
The overspill of the BBC’s services
will be reduced so viewers outside the UK will find it even harder to receive them. I know that this causes unhappiness to some of you living outside the UK. However, it is entirely appropriate
because the BBC domestic services are for people living in the UK only
